The Inn on Putney Road

Visitors to Brattleboro, Vermont are welcome to walk through a rotating display of my work in the garden context at the Inn on Putney Road, a charming B&B less than a half mile north of downtown. The gardens behind the Inn are a hidden gem (and home to a Japanese maple reputed to be one of the largest in North America!). The owners welcome visitors to take self-guided tours year-round.

I have been privileged to share my work with a broad audience through exhibition at museums, parks, horticultural gardens and other public spaces.

Welcome Center Gardens

I am honored to have my work featured in the gardens of the Vermont Welcome Center (off of northbound I-91) in Guilford, Vermont. The vessels add to the grandeur of the building -- and make great photo-op backdrops for visitors!

Destinations and Sanctuaries Installation at Blithewold

Blithewold, the renowned mansion, gardens and arboretum in Bristol, RI, hosted a season-long outdoor exhibit of my work in 2016. The 18 large vessels created for Destinations and Sanctuaries show the influence of the setting: Organic forms suggestive of seed pod, cocoon and hive meld with classical proportions. As several visitors said, "The pieces look as though they grew here!"
